Hello

I’m Jeanne, the artist behind this studio. I create realistic wildlife drawings with one goal in mind: to support the animals I draw and protect the world they live in.

My Story

A few years ago, I started out drawing people's pets on my iPad and I genuinely loved it. Making something meaningful for a person or a family. But somewhere along the way, I kept feeling the pull toward something bigger.

About a year ago, I picked up birdwatching to add some tranquility and outdoorsiness into my busy life. And slowly but surely, it changed something in me. The stillness and focus in watching these birds brought back a feeling of curiosity I recognised from childhood but had completely lost touch with. And it made me realise that's exactly what I want my artwork to do too. To show people the beauty of nature and inspire them to slow down and truly see the natural world around us.

Nowadays, when I sit down to draw, I find myself noticing all the little details. The tilt of a head. The personality behind a pair of eyes. The details that make an animal unmistakably themselves. That's what I try to capture: a real encounter with another being. And in doing so, I hope I can make people care enough to protect these animals and the world they live in.

With every limited edition print I release, 10% of sales go directly to a conservation project related to that species. So when you purchase one of my prints, you are directly contributing to the conservation of the animal it represents.
