1. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
As a consumer purchasing from The Wild Canvas, you are entitled to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your print, without providing any reason. This is your legal right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
To exercise this right, you must notify us within the 14-day period by emailing info@wildcanvas.org with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use the following wording: "I hereby notify The Wild Canvas that I wish to cancel my order [order number], placed on [date] and received on [date]."
Once we receive your cancellation notice, we will confirm it by email.
2. How to Return a Print
If you wish to return a print, please follow these steps:
1. Email us at info@wildcanvas.org within 14 days of receiving your order to notify us of your return.
2. We will confirm your return request and provide you with return instructions within 2 business days.
3. Pack the print securely in its original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging) to prevent damage in transit.
4. Ship the print back to us within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.
The print must be returned in its original, undamaged condition. Prints that show signs of damage caused after delivery, or that are returned without adequate packaging, may not be eligible for a full refund.
3. Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the following cases:
• The print arrived damaged or defective;
• You received the wrong item;
• The print significantly differs from its description on our website.
In these cases, we will cover the cost of return shipping and arrange collection or provide a prepaid return label.
4. Refunds
4.1 Refund Timeline
Once we receive your returned print and confirm it is in its original condition, we will process your refund within 14 days. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been issued.
5.2 Refund Method
Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. We do not offer refunds via a different payment method unless your original method is no longer available.
5.3 What Is Refunded
We will refund the full price of the print, including any standard outbound shipping costs you paid. We will not refund any premium or express shipping upgrades you selected at checkout.
If you are returning only part of an order, only the cost of the returned item(s) will be refunded.
5. Damaged or Defective Prints
If your print arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us at info@wildcanvas.org within 14 days of receipt. Please include:
• Your order number;
• A description of the damage or defect;
• Clear photographs showing the damage, including the packaging if it was also damaged.
We will assess your claim and, at our discretion, offer a replacement print, a store credit, or a full refund. We aim to resolve all damage claims within 5 business days of receiving your report.
6. Lost or Undelivered Orders
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at info@wildcanvas.org. We will investigate with the carrier on your behalf.
If an order is confirmed as lost in transit, we will offer you a replacement or a full refund, at your choice. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect delivery addresses provided at checkout.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
• Prints that have been personalised or custom-made;
• Prints that have been damaged after delivery due to improper handling or storage by the customer;
• Any item returned more than 14 days after the cancellation notice, without prior agreement from us.
