The story of the red kite is one that always sticks with me. Once they were almost completely gone from the UK, but thanks to years of hard work by conservationists, they're now a much more common sight in the sky.
When I created this piece, I kept thinking about how different that story could have been. It's easy to take seeing these birds for granted now, but it will always remind me that nature can recover if we give it a chance.
To support the conservation of this beautiful bird, 10% of every sale will be donated to the Hawk Conservancy Trust, They do incredible work protecting and rehabilitating birds of prey. If the limited edition sells out, a total of €1170 will be donated to ensure the red kite's recovery remains a story with a happy ending.
